Messaging Terms
Effective 18 June 2026
These Messaging Terms describe the WhatsApp and SMS messaging program operated through Pamweni by NC Digital Pods Inc. (“Pamweni”, “we”, “us”). They apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The program
Pamweni lets membership-based groups and organizations — such as clubs, committees, societies, teams, and community groups — send event invitations and reminders to their own members. Messages are personalized with your name, the event title and date, and a link to confirm or decline attendance. We send only event-related messages. We do not send marketing or promotional content.
How you opt in
You receive messages only after you have opted in to receive them from your group. You can opt in by sending us a message yourself — for example, by tapping a link or scanning a code your group shares — or by replying to confirm a one-time opt-in request (reply YES). Consent is not a condition of any purchase. If you did not opt in and are receiving messages, reply STOP or contact your group.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your group’s event activity — typically only around the dates of your group’s events.
Cost
Pamweni does not charge you to receive these messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
How to opt out
SMS: reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a final confirmation. Reply START to resubscribe.
WhatsApp: reply STOP, block the number, or ask your group to remove you, and we will stop sending.
Help
Reply HELP to any message, or email support@pamweni.com for assistance.
Your privacy
Your mobile phone number and your messaging opt-in consent are not shared, sold, or rented to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio), solely to deliver the messages you have asked to receive. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
